COURSE DESCRIPTION

Students will engage in small group (3-4 students) or one-on-one, dynamic language interaction according to fun themes. Students will also be given activities to complete at home. This curriculum is best for children ages 3 – 8.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • A happy teacher will get your child singing and speaking in Mandarin.
  • “Exploring God’s World, Session II” will guide students through some of the interesting aspects of fall, such as how farmers grow fruits and vegetables on farms, and how we can take care of our bodies by eating healthy foods. Students will go on to learn about how to talk about their families in preparation for Thanksgiving. They will also explore the story of Squanto and learn more about pilgrims and the origins of the Thanksgiving holiday. In December, students discuss winter, the Christmas story, and how Christmas is celebrated in Mexico.
  • You’ll have access to activities for reinforcement at home, keeping little hands occupied.

CLASS SCHEDULE

This class meets for 7 weeks.

Classes begin on October 26th and end on December 18th.

A Thanksgiving Break will be observed from November 23rd – 27th.
